High school meets Einstein
Thanks to physicists Luisa Sarsa and Fernando Bartolomé for discovering us such an interesting character as Albert Einstein and how was his visit to our beloved city.
Albert Einstein, the most important, well-known and popular scientist of the 20th century, accepted the invitation of the Academy of Sciences of Zaragoza, within his brief tour of Spain, in which he also visited Barcelona and Madrid. He arrived in Zaragoza at noon on March 12 and that same afternoon he gave the first lecture in the assembly hall of the building that housed the Faculties of Medicine and Science, located on the outskirts of the city, today the Paraninfo of the University of Zaragoza.
The students had a lot of fun and I am sure that in the future they will remember their first lecture on the general theory of relativity, besides being able to visit such a beautiful building as the Paraninfo building of the University of Zaragoza.
