In-House Catering Team
As an in-house catering team, we truly care about the ingredients that go into the food we prepare. Our chef maintains direct relationships with local suppliers to ensure access to the finest seasonal produce. Sustainability is central to our philosophy and guides how we source and prepare our meals.
We take nutrition seriously and understand the impact a healthy diet has on the early years of development. Meals are always freshly prepared using nutritious ingredients, offering a truly personalized service.
We understand that creativity must come first, and our chefs create their own vibrant menus featuring both classic and innovative dishes, as well as authentic international cuisine. Theme-based meals are extremely popular among the student body.
We understand how important mealtimes are to our students, and we want them to feel at home when they eat with us. Through feedback and communication, we take into account the input from both our day students to ensure that we are delivering on that experience.
Breakfast and lunch are lovingly prepared every day at our school according to our menu. Breakfast consists of seasonal fruit and toast, which provides the necessary protein.
Our menu includes a seasonal soup or salad and a main course. Lunch is seen as a learning experience, during which students set the table and serve themselves. We cook with great care, using local, organic, and seasonal ingredients. Our home-style cooking contains no processed foods.
The students and their teachers all eat together. It is a good moment to promote "grace and courtesy" among us and to share a moment of relaxation and pleasure around the meal all together.

From planning and preparation to cooking, we are committed to providing our students with well-balanced meals that give them the energy and nutrients they need to learn and grow. We strive to ensure that our students have healthy bodies and minds.
We understand the role that sports play in shaping students' physical, mental, and emotional well-being. We work with a local dietitian and nutritionist to ensure that we are providing students with the energy they need to perform at their best, both academically and physically.
Zaragoza SchoolHouse provides a healthy lunch every day, based on the daily menu, to all our full-time students. Children attending half-day sessions receive a daily lunch.
At Zaragoza SchoolHouse, we believe in quality, which is why we have created a healthy meal plan for our students. Our menu is based on regional standards and guidelines fromthe Government of Aragonand is supervised by a registered dietitian.All meals are freshly prepared, and we do not serve any processed foods. The food service team prepares all meals and lunches daily in our own kitchen.
Fresh seasonal fruits may vary and include: apples, bananas, grapes, pears, melons, watermelon, plums, and nectarines; vegetables may also vary depending on seasonal availability.
Our menu:

At Zaragoza SchoolHouse, the school lunch program is enhanced by a series of complementary activities focused on nutrition education and healthy eating.
At Casa de Niños y Niñas, the students help prepare lunch.
In elementary school, the “From Garden to Table” program grows lettuce and carrots in the school garden. They also manage the composting program.
In middle school, they make homemade desserts every week.
