At ZSH we attach great importance to the development of a good mathematical base. Working with Montessori materials from the age of three allows us to acquire a magnificent concrete base on which to build more abstract concepts and to encourage memorisation and problem solving.
We regularly hold workshops with families to showcase the work being done in the classroom and the power of Montessori materials.
In addition, there are different resources that can be used: mathematical games, geometry, books... This week we have added new books with mathematical content to the Primary classroom. Both in English and Spanish.
