The Montessori program for teenagers combines academic work with hands-on activities such as tending a farm, woodworking, and cooking, among others.
During adolescence, it’s important to feel valued, to feel like you belong to a community, and to “make” things. There are different ways to do this, and at Zaragoza SchoolHouse, we do it through building, cooking, and sewing.
Solving challenges as a group and planning for construction needs allows them to develop skills that they will continue to use in the future.
